1. Fewer Folders:

                                This is the most important point that a URL should contain fewer folders. Its mean the length of URL should be short as much as possible. There are many levels of URLs. For example level 1 URL level 2 URL Level 3 URL and so on. If there is any demand that we have to increase the level of URL than at most use level three other wise use level one or two.

For example if your page title is What are keywords? Then you can add “types of keywords” in your URL.

5. Avoid automated numeric labels.

6. Characters in URL should be in lower case.

Most CMS will allow you to have uppercase in URL but always keep in mind that lower case letters are better than uppercase letters.

7. Indirectly backlinks can help in backlinking.

Its mean if URL will be simple and easy to understand then any blogger can use it in his articles. If URL will be long and difficult then he will face difficulties in putting your URL in his article and there are great chances that he will avoid your URL.
